Meadow Farms is a small local business in Mariposa County, California owned and operated by Brenda Ostrom. The business
provides local vegetable delivery service, a farm, and catering services. The local vegetable delivery service
is a CSA - Community Supported Agriculture. CSA is a social movement to connect farmers with their local communities
to facilitate financial support for small farms and provide residents with fresh local produce and products. The farm
produces chicken, eggs, turkeys, heirloom tomatoes, pumpkins, berries, irises, flowers, and culinary herbs. The farm also
hosts school field trips and other educational programs and events during the late summer and fall. Catering services
feature mindfully prepared artisan menus featuring local and organic ingredients under the direction of Chef Jen Bowen-Meno.
These ingredients are grown on the farm or purveyed from other local organic farmers. Mountain Meadow Farms supports preserving
and developing authentic local sustainable community based efforts.
